On October 9, 2018 at Westminster Central Hall in London, members of the Church from Pakistan and representing various other countries from the global Church made a commitment to bless the peoples of Pakistan with the good news of God’s love and grace.

PAK7 London and Lahore Declaration

We, members of the Church of Jesus Christ from Pakistan and from other nations praise and thank God for the great redemption he has so freely and graciously given to us through the gospel of his Son. In love He has redeemed a people for himself from every tribe, nation and tongue by sending his Son into the world to die for our sins and rise again triumphantly from the dead, to the praise of His glory. He has made us his own and granted us the joy and privilege of being his witnesses in our broken world.

In humility we repent of our past failures to carry out the task he entrusted to us —that of making this good news known among the nations as he has commanded us in the Great Commission. We also repent of past failures to be his witnesses in the manner he commands and envisions —as His Body.

In faith we declare that the one true living God is the Creator, Redeemer and Sovereign of all things. Together with one voice we re-affirm our common Christian faith as articulated in the Holy Bible, the Nicene Creed and in the Lausanne Covenant. We put aside our nonessential differences in order to be his witnesses in the unity he calls us to.

By faith, we hereby firmly resolve to bless the peoples of Pakistan through making the good news of his love and grace known through media. We further resolve to do so in the manner envisioned by our Savior — in love, in unity and in purity, humbly depending on the power of the Holy Spirit, demonstrating the gospel we proclaim by our love for one another and the people of Pakistan.

By faith we resolve to see our vision realized:

• to see God more fully glorified and enjoyed in Pakistan
• his church built up in the knowledge of God, the appreciation of the gospel and the fulness of the Holy Spirit
• and the people of Pakistan blessed through the gospel of his love and grace

By faith we resolve to accomplish our mission:

• to provide the Pakistani Church an opportunity to witness to Jesus Christ and the gospel through inspirational, informational and educational media services

Trusting in his sufficient grace, together we pledge our lives, our resources and our honor to accomplish this sacred task for good of the people of Pakistan and for the glory of God.
