It has been a busy, but productive month for PAK7, which included our production team being invited to attend the 4/14 summit in Lahore. The thought behind the event was to bring together Christian groups and organisations from various sectors: media, sports, education, healthcare, Church and politics, to focus was on what each sector needs to do to cater to the needs of children aged 4-14 years in Pakistan.
PAK7 representatives, Shazar and Naina Mall, had a great time networking with fellow guests and learning about the important role Christian media in Pakistan is playing in both the physical and spiritual development of children and young people. Later in the day, Naina was invited to join the media panel Q&A session hosted by Mr. Adnan Sandhu.
Other media ministries on the panel included Isaac TV, JC TV, Catholic TV. The panel shared their thoughts on the power of media, lack of kids' content on Christian TV channels and how to tackle it, and holistic child development through Christian media.
PAK7 was also given an opportunity to share a brief presentation about our vision and the work we are doing in sharing God’s love through the media. The overall response team received from young people was encouraging and uplifting!
The 4/14 window summit is a great initiative led by PSSM, Pakistan Sunday School Ministry. Thanks for inviting us!
