In early 2025, we set out to learn more about the impact of the Media Schools that PAK7 has been running over the past few years. Since 2019 we have trained almost 100 young Pakistani Christians – and we wanted to learn more about them and their journeys.
A number of the young people we have trained currently work for PAK7 as staff or as interns, but there are many who graduate from our Media Schools who don’t get offered internships, and there are many who complete their internships and do not become staff.
So, how are we doing? What is happening to the Media School alumni? Is the investment we are making in them having an impact? What further help do they need?

The results are encouraging. At a high level, we can see that roughly 40% of those who have been through the Media Schools currently work for PAK7. This is partly to do with the fact that we offer a number of internships with PAK7, and partly because some have become staff. But realistically this percentage is going to fall over time as PAK7’s growth cannot sustain the hiring of 40% of our Media School graduates each year.
For this reason, the next two figures for graduates who do not work for PAK7 is even more important:
- 26% of graduates are continuing to work in the Media full-time
- 13% of graduates are continuing to work in the Media part-time
Between these figures and those working for PAK7 – almost 80% of all of our graduates are still working in the media.
But we need to do more to support them – the survey shows that many are struggling, and so PAK7 will be doing more to develop offerings to help them to be successful in the media industry.
You can read the full report, with testimonies of individual graduates to learn more about the success of this training, and what PAK7 plans to do to improve.
Thank you to so many of our supporters who have helped to invest in these young people, and what God is doing in Pakistan through them.
